About Plug'd In
The Plug'd In is an music industry recognized event, that has been described in the UK music press as "One of the most effective gigs for breaking new bands and building a nationwide profile". A key event on UK gigging calendar, the Plug'd In enjoyed sell-out gigs from the likes of The Script, The Courteeners and Alphabeat, all of whom have gone on to immense recording and live successes.
The Plug'd In are organised in partnership with the most influential record labels and tour operators, keeping UK audiences "Plug'd In" to the best current live music. At these shows fans are offered the "best seat in the house" and experience a "rocktastic" bliss performed by the best established and "ones to watch" Artists.

Music Industry Showcase
The Music Industry Showcase, held 3-times a year at the O2 Academy Islington and O2 Academy Liverpool main stage, are the pinnacle of the "Plug'd In" shows. They feature the best independent bands scouted from the Plug'd In gigs, Avantgarde and -18 showcases together with international headliners.
Whenever a band steps on stage at our 02 Academy "Plug'd In" Music Industry Showcase, they gain instant access to the world's largest combined viral promotional platform (Live Nation, ticketweb, Lastfm, o2 priority, o2 Academy, JML SNS) together with direct access to the music makers of today.
This event pulls together all of JML's, and the event partners, music acumen of bringing bands to the marketplace. Bands step on stage in the knowledge that this performance can deliver the openings for future UK supports, festival and tour bookings, radio play and publishing/licensing deals.
To further assist bands, Jar Music Group In collaboration with The British Grove Studio, 2 time winners of the best UK studio and owned by Mark Knopfler (Dire Straights), select a few bands to remix their live o2 academy performance.
The O2 Academy Plug'd In Music Industry Showcase only books bands who have previously performed at our Plug'd In gigs or come recommended by in-house A&R's or affiliated record labels.
