The BreakOut Music Awards are a UK and international event that honours unsigned and independent bands from 4 music genres. The Breakout promotes new Artist by providing them with a range of invaluable resources to get there music heard and recognized by connecting them with new audiences and key industry decision makers through both a viral multimedia platform and high profile live concerts.
The event seeks to honour bands whom have broaden the definition of commercial music, inspire with their creativity and represent diversity in the global live music scene.
BreakOut Nominee Shows will be taking place at the most prestigious concert halls, including the main stages of the UK O2 Academies, 53Degrees UCLAN Univeristy, The Cavern Liverpool, Concorde2, The Riverside with the Award ceremony at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire.
“The Breakout Music Awards have become a symbol of excellence and recognised amongst the UK, European and Asian music fraternity. The successes achieved by past winners go far beyond those of any other event of its kind, demonmstrating a commitment for the event to support bands well after the award has been given and mirroring the experience of the BreakOut partners in developing and breaking new acts.” - Commented Mr Mark Belsom (A&R Universal Music).
Over the past 3 years Jar Music Group (JMG) and its music partners and labels have wholeheartedly committed their music resources to assist the BreakOut Music Award winners, develop their music and profile on a national and worldwide platform regardless of the length of time to achieve this objective.

In part, this has been achieved by building a hi-end promotion mechanism called the BreakOut "incubator", through which BreakOut nominees are instantly connected with new listeners and their music delivered through multiple digital music services to the BreakOut’s partners' 22M internet traffic.
This has provided past nominees with an increased media profile, fan-base, income streams from album and single sales and created a multitude of TV & film synchronization deals and opportunities.

The Awards are then supported by an incredible series of festivals across the world (south & East Asia and Europe), where the award winners are able to play on massive festival stages and connect “live” their new international audiences. The festivals are set in idyllic locations (such as the Maldives, Malaysia and India). These festivals are combined with other media events like the MTV world stage, arranged through Jar Music Group’s vast network of partners and licensees across the world.
