Live shows take place from Wednesday to Saturday, up to 10 nights a month. Days may vary every month but you will know the schedule minimum 2 months in advance.

The presenters will need to be flexible and reliable and have excellent people skills, with experience of working within a live show format. They must be extremely well presented, have clear dictation and command of English.

- Reading from a script and/or autocue
- Presenter must follow any instructions given by the events manager

The ideal candidate will have Scotland based industry experience including live music bookings and promotion and will have a large number of industry contacts including artists, agents and managers. Great organisational and communication skills are a prerequisite for this type of role.
The managing agent must meet the following conditions:
- Run Excel software to use the official documents
- Must have a computer or Laptop
- An in-depth know-how of the music scene with-in their territory
- Must have established ties within industr
- Fully understanding and experience on how to market the venue and how to expand all financially avenues
- Ability to market and promote quality acts
- Full understanding of music/live marketing and PR strategies and workings
- Ability to develop, design and implement marketing campaigns
- Manage and lead campaigns together with our Promotions and PR Department
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to manage a small promotions team, eager to learn and achieve targets
- Ability to work long hours, meet high expectations and work under intense pressure
- Proven track record with excellent references expected
The agent is employed to manage the showcase event by implementing all of the financial policies set out below:
- Managing the events in accordance to the "Events Management" rules
- To maintain and safeguard all of the companies equipment and assets
- To enforce all financial controls and adhere to them fully
- To follow the guidelines laid out in the "Advertising & Promotion Guidelines"
- To actively promote the events to the local music market
- Maintain at all times a professional and helpful rapport with the bands and Jar employees
