JML Events & Venues Played: 02 Academy Islington, Music For Life, 6-date south east tour promoting "Mad Dog Live Ep", Jelling Festival in Denmark, The Getaway Rock Festival in Sweden.
UNDER JAR MUSIC'S DEVELOPMENT
Following the band's first performance at the O2 Academy2 "Plug'd In", the band was booked to play the Industry & media show at the 02 academy Islington following the reviews from JMG's A&R reps.
During the show the band were introduced to 21st Management (ex Led Zeppelin Management) who instantly signed the band. Jar Music Group also arranged a recording session with their production team at our partner's award winning studio The British Grove (owned by Mark Knopfler of Dire Straights). The release of "Mad Dog Live @ The O2 Academy" was promoted with a 6-date tour of the south east of England and used as PR to promote the band to European Rock festivals. This brought about 3 dates at Jelling Festival in Denmark supporting Elton John & Wolfmother. The Getaway Rock Festival in Sweden supporting Motorhead and headlining The Music4Life Festival in Sudbury (Suffolk).

HISTORY
The band was booked to perform at our yearly Official Industry Showcase on the 25th November 2009. As one of the best bands of the night, meeting many of RCA's labels scouting requirements, the JMG's executives and partners arranged studio time to produce 4 of their songs (you can here 2 of them at this site).

Mad Dog are also one of the bands that will have their single produced by partner Steinberg and Mark Knopfers' British Grove studio with a subsequent UK tour in late Summer 2010.

The band weaves a tapestry made with blues and garage rock which gives their music sweetness and power that mimic perfectly the interpretation of the singer.
What stands out is the incredible sound created by this three piece with each musical element rationed out perfectly – sound, rhythm, unexpected breaks an incisive chorus'. With a blend of melodic, in your face rock they hunger to infect their listeners with an addictive and accessible sound.
