Under Jar Music's development Lecarla will be under development with Jar Music Group starting in November 2011.
This will include a promoted single release with a O2 academy tour, media events and festivals. Lecarla played Jar Music Live O2 Academy Plug'd In bringing them to the attention of Kerrang who wrote "I don't think I've ever come across a band like these guys in the whole of the UK, in fact the world... This excites me!"Alex Baker (Kerrang!)

After forming in early 2009, we have been fortunate enough to share the stage with heavyweights such as Does It Offend You Yeah?, The Blackout, We Are The Ocean, Francesqa, Attack! Attack!, All Forgotten, Deaf Havana, Young Guns, The King Blues, My Passion and The Towers Of London.

Lecarla are a mix of melodic metal with twists of powerpop and rock. To put their style into words is difficult, because they manage to cleverly elude any certain categorization. Astonishingly assured and bursting at the seams, instrumentation is impeccable, with the intuitive and chunky guitars driving each song forward in a well-rounded style that shifts effortlessly between thrashy grooves and more somber slower sections. Lecarla manages to blend sweeping metal melodies with beats that transforms into percussive carnage and split-second drumming. Their songs frequently heads off in a serpentine direction that are thrillingly unpredictable but never drift off into the shallow inevitability of many bands. Meanwhile, the arrangements strip back the layers to reveal the emotion in the bands moving three-part harmonies.
